My husband and I were faced with a really tough situation. I took a new job out of state and we thought we were going to have to give our little Paco up for adoption, after having him be part of the family for 12+ years. I found Mya's website and began speaking with her regarding the adoption process. After just a few interactions I knew I would be comfortable trusting her with Paco, her knowledge and care were very evident. However, after just a few interactions with me, Mya could tell that we really didn't want to adopt Paco out on a permanant basis, and just weren't ready to let go. So Mya helped us have a happy ending. She offered and worked with us to care for Paco on a termporary basis and opened her home and heart to him (& us) for several months while we completed the move and got settled in. Mya allowed us to keep our little family together. We can't thank her enough for all her help, advice, & care.  --Amy and Matt P., formerly of Royal Oak, MI

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I had contacted you this past fall to adopt a male chin buddy for my chin, Chilly, and you put me in touch with Carise at ForCHINate Chins.  I am very happy to say that I adopted the sweetest little chin named Pinky, and he and Chilly are getting along wonderfully!   Thank you SO much for helping me find a good companion for Chilly and for enabling me to adopt a rescue chin who needed a home.  I wish you the best, and I hope you have a great, peaceful year!  Take good care.  --Kelly C., Knoxville, TN

Phoebe is up to 574 grams and no longer on critical care!  Ironically, the day you sent this [message saying she'd start refusing when she no longer needed Critical Care], she started not wanting it and after reading your note, I figured it was because she was eating on her own.  You really know chins!  I am not noticing any slobbers or pawing at the mouth.  She is playing and becoming more and more social again.  I cannot tell you how much of a Godsend you were, Mya.  I truly believe I would have lost her had you not referred me to Dr. G.  I am realistic and realize that she probably doesn't have years left, but knowing that she is feeling better and able to spend more time with Dee makes me very happy.  --Sean O., Ypsilanti, MI
